Abstract The mining machine for bauxite is the key equipment mechanized of underground ore. machines shearing and loading ore have been studied in this paper from three aspects: determination technical parameters, in-situ tests, optimization, improvement. Mechanical physical parameters ore, such as high tensile strength, no-cleavage, abrasion properties, a great impact on machine. conventional conical picks which are widely used drums soft rock, coal mines, not suitable other high-abrasion rocks. chisel pick theoretically better choice. main faults during tests closely related to especially walking actuator traction part. So second-generation should be optimized selection types, linear speed, cutting depth picks, selecting wear-resistance material part designing more structure research results important theoretical significance design bauxite.
